An unofficial map of Tokyo's time-limited street parking (meters and ticket machines). Always follow the road signs.
Find parking for a trip: in Google Maps, tap Share on the place you are going and Copy link. Paste it in the box at the top and tap Go. You can also type a place name or an address. The closest meter zones show in yellow, best first; the round button finds zones near you.
Drive buttons: Yahoo! Car Navi and Google Maps both stop at the end of the zone nearest you, then finish at the far end, so you pass every space.
Colors show when the meters run. A meter that is off does not mean free parking: it is only allowed if no "no parking" sign covers that time, and never 12 hours or more in one spot (8 hours or more at night).
I parked here starts a countdown to your time limit, with a calendar alert or an iPhone timer and a walk-back link.
